Most Common Questions
Do you accept my health insurance?
Renew Orthobiologics Center is a direct care medical facility, which means we operate outside of the health insurance system. This allows us to direct our clinic focus on providing you with an optimal healthcare experience and make treatment recommendations based on what is best for your health.
We are happy to provide you with a Superbill, showing charges and payments, which you can use to request reimbursement from your HSA or FSA account if applicable.
What can I do to optimize my regenerative procedure response?
We will provide pre-procedure instructions and post-procedure expectations, but here are a few basic principles that help:
Stop anti-inflammatory medications
Hydrate well.
Proper nutrition.
Follow post-procedure activity recommendations / rehabilitation exercises

Do you offer stem cell procedures?
The term "stem cells" has been used to refer to several regenerative orthopedic procedures and the name can be misleading. We do offer BMAC and MFAT procedures, utilizing your own body's tissue, which have been referred to as "stem cell" procedures in the past.
We do NOT inject placenta or cord blood that some refer to as stem cells- not only do most of these products not contain any viable cells, these procedures are banned by the FDA.
It is also worth noting that, while BMAC and MFAT demonstrate strong signaling capabilities, the cells in these injections have not been shown to convert into new tendon or cartilage tissue (which is why there has been a shift away from calling these stem cell procedures)
